MEGHAN BRADY The Art of Seeing Work With Me

ABOUT MEGHAN

I have spent more than twenty years learning to look more closely.

The work began with horses and bodywork, but over time it became something larger: a deeper study of observation, clinical reasoning, communication, and what the horse is actually showing us.

THE STORY

The work kept leading me back to the same question: what am I not seeing yet?

For more than two decades, my work has been rooted in horses. It began with teaching and hands-on bodywork, but over time my attention moved toward the patterns underneath what I was seeing—movement, compensation, nervous system response, and the way those pieces influence one another.

The more horses I worked with, the more interested I became in the patterns that resisted easy explanations. Why did the same restriction keep returning? What was the horse organizing around? What did the work under saddle reveal about the body? What changed when we stopped trying to name the problem first and began by observing what was actually there?

Those questions became the foundation of The Art of Seeing. Today they shape the way I work with horses, mentor practitioners, teach, write, and speak: look more closely, stay curious longer, and let the whole picture inform what comes next.

What keeps me curious is how much there still is to notice.

HORSEWOMAN + PRACTITIONER

I understand the horse from both sides of the conversation.

Being in the saddle gives me another perspective on movement, balance, training, and the subtle changes riders actually feel—the transition that begins to change, the movement that becomes less available, or the moment when a training question and a body question begin to overlap.

BEYOND THE HANDS-ON WORK

Horses have taken my work far beyond one discipline.

As founder of the Equestrian Travel Association and host of Galloping Getaways, I have also spent years exploring the way horses create connection, community, and experiences across places and cultures.

That part of my work continues to evolve through equestrian travel, retreats, and immersive Art of Seeing experiences that bring together horses, learning, place, and a different way of looking at the world around us.

EXPERIENCE + EDUCATION

Each part of my education has given me another way to understand the horse.

My background spans equine instruction, bodywork, movement, nervous system work, fitness, and psychology. Each layer has added another way of looking at the horse, but experience has taught me that no single modality or discipline tells the whole story.

THE WORK TODAY

The work keeps evolving. The question underneath it stays the same.

Across equine wellness, education, writing, speaking, and experiences, the thread is the same: learning to see the whole picture more clearly and asking what we may not be seeing yet.
